  My family of 4 enjoyed our 3 days/ 2 nights stay at Matu and would surely go back. Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

  Matu Island was a great place to be for the hospitality, food & drinks, tranquility, swimming and incredible views (sunrise, sunset) from your room. If you like to fish it's a good place to rent a boat to start your trip. Did not know Suriname could be that beautiful.

  I had a bad Experience in Matu Island, we were fishing near by, and we decide to see the place, cause may be in the future we could Sleep in there.... But when we get in there the responsible for the place was Not Friendly at all. and did not allow us to see the place. he told us ''if u guys want to see i need to charge 100 Bucks each or check on the internet'' after this i Would never ever go there.
