  Nice place, kind people. On my river-trip, nov. 2017, to (& back) up-river Kajana I spent a few nights here. Great swim in the river. Nice hammock, good food.

  It is a 6-hour journey from Paramaribo, but then you also find yourself in the tropical rainforest. There are some 2p lodges available as well as hotel rooms. Eating is done together. There are various activities such as a tour of local villages and a caiman tour. Ask for the places where you can swim in the Suriname River due to currents.
