::We are here staying in the Marina for 6 weeks to tour this beautiful unspoiled country. Noel the resort owner and host has helped make our stay spectacular and stress free. He helped manage the check in for immigration and it went seamlessly. Noel arranged a car to pick us up at the resort and take us to town for immigration check in. We then picked up our rental car and are making our tour arrangements. Everything about this country is affordable and so far amazing.

::When we arrived we were met bye the owner who is there every weekend to be honest i got a really unsettling vibe off the owner quiet creapy for the hole day he lurjed around the guests taking photos with his sweat soaked shirt , revolting !

::Enjoying our 4th stay here. Our yacht likes the calm hurricane free weather. And we enjoy some luxury time ashore in a villa while we prepare our boat to leave it in the mornings and then clean it up again ready to return to the Caribbean. Vinegar widely available in the local shops and bleach gets everything including the fenders white again. Don’t miss the Sunday feast.

::Are you looking for a marina in Suriname? The Marina Resort Waterland is an excellent place to stay with your yacht. This is a beautiful resort. Unique in Suriname. And Noël and his team are simply terrific, just like the facilities, the gardens, the food, the abundant nature and the spectacular surroundings. You'll enjoy your stay!

::Now this is a tiny marina for small sailing vessels with good docking facilities. This marina has also accommodation to offer. These luxurious bungalows are excellent due to design. Their beautiful located amidst a lovely tropical garden settings. But that's how it is priced. And there is dining facility on the river side. The marina location is a bit isolated from the nearby village of Domburg. 10 - 12 minutes by car.
