  Quiet private island in Lake Brokopondo. FANTASTIC fishing location for fishing enthusiasts with tooenari (peacock bass) as the main catch but also the occasional Piranha. The sleeping area for 16 people consists of a kind of youth hostel with sleeping areas closed by curtains around a very large dining table with an excellent kitchen at the end. Swimming in the lake is not recommended due to sharp branches and trunks just below the water level. The island also has a small swimming pool. The special view over the reservoir with its many dead tree remains protruding above the water can seem a bit gloomy.
