  Great place to learn more about Suriname's wildlife. Me and my family had a wonderful time there, and we had the park all to ourselves when we went.

  Small zoo with quite an abundance of native animals alongside a few imported ones and an educational center. It is a great location for a child's small birthday party; also great for a quiet and fun day out with the kids.

  Looks better in comparison than before maintenance-wise, but fewer animals than in the 90's.

  The Paramaribo Zoo is located in a green part of the capital Paramaribo. It is a small Zoo with a reasonable collection of animals. Not very spectacular, but a nice location with lots of trees and shade to be out off the business of the town for a couple of hours. .
