  What a great hostel! Great atmosphere, food, and rooms. Wonderful covered patio in the backyard with hammocks. I enjoyed hanging out with the two pet rabbits and guests/staff. Fresh herbs for making tea. Rooms come with fans and good mosquito nets. Screened windows allow for good ventilation, keeping rooms nice and cool at night. Balcony on second floor offer a beautiful view of the surrounding rooftops. Accepted USD, Euros, and SRD. Don't be deterred by their lack of a website. They also lead trips to Jaw Jaw, which I hope to do next time I visit.

  It’s an old Dutch house with only a few rooms. The area is spacious, includes a cosy restaurant on a shaded terrace and a chill out area with lots of books. My biggest recommendation is to arrange a tour to Jaw Jaw on the Upper Suriname River, where the brother Belé does amazing tours at reasonable prices (120 $ all inclusive) and offers you to live 2-3 days in the village. Best tour, you’ll be amazed!

  Had a great stay, proved by the fact that I stayed 7 nights. Cheap place so don't expect a lot of luxury, but my mother loved it as well. Amazing chill area at the back. Great Brazilian food present in the restaurant.

  Beautiful old house. Nicely maintained. Nice Bed & Breakfast. Friendly owner. Quiet street close to the center and entertainment area.

  Excellent and relaxed hotel, with comfortable swimming pool. Diners are excellent and high end, for a budget price. Great for individual travelers as well as families with small kids, like us. Everything is at walking distance, or by a short taxi ride.
