  We had a great time in this fantastic place. Frans, Aad and Jeremiah are very nice, friendly hosts. Cottages were very clean and equipped with everything. You can enjoy a delicious meal on the waterfront, 5 minutes away. After traveling from here and there for 2.5 weeks, we had a wonderful time here. Highly recommended!

  It was a delight to stay at Surinat, waking up with fresh coffee to the sounds of the jungle, relaxing evenings in the pool and jacuzzi. Thehosts are such friendly and warm people, our stay couldn't have been any better.

  If your idea of "Luxury" is a tiny pool, mediocre housing and wandering (dutch educated lol) dogs on the property, book this. Otherwise, avoid! We were guided by the 9.5 average rating, but took our loss and left within 10 minutes of arrival

  We wanted some rest from the lockdown situation in the country and want spent one day plus overnight at this place. The place is nice and clean. The staff is helpful. Our only problem was the dinner. The hotel did not offer dinner, maybe because we were the only guests. In the close neighborhood there were no restaurants. We came from Paramaribo, so it made no sense to get dinner in Paramaribo. Hence we had to do it with a take away saoto from a local warung and warm it in the evening. For the rest everything was ok, so the breakfast. One other thing; if you are short or are with children ask for a bench in the toilet.
