::This was my favorite coffee shop while traveling in Suriname. Went here 3 times. Wonderful staff, great drinks and treats. There are different desserts every day. Quiet, calm location alon gthe canal, overlooking the Palm Garden. Great covered seating to hide from the sun or rain.

::Sweetie Coffee left a lasting impression on me during my recent visit to Paramaribo, Suriname. The warmth and hospitality of the staff, likely the co-owner who assisted me, truly stood out. Their friendliness, helpfulness, and accommodating attitude added an extra layer of comfort to my experience. The coffee shop's simple wooden stall concept, nestled beside the serene Palm Garden (Palmentuin), instantly captured my heart. Despite my mid-day visit, I found solace in the ambiance, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. The connection between their setting and the surrounding environment created a refreshing retreat. One of the highlights was their unique approach to coffee – roasting their own beans. After purchasing a bag, I discovered they blended Arabica beans from Central America with Robusta beans sourced from Suriname. This transparent approach to sourcing and blending intrigued me, and I applaud their dedication to quality. Opting for a cup of flat white, I wasn't disappointed. The blend of flavors resulted in a delicious and satisfying cup of coffee. Speaking of which, the affordability of their offerings, especially their coffee beans, pleasantly surprised me. Without a doubt, Sweetie Coffee will be my go-to spot whenever I'm back in Paramaribo. The genuine hospitality, distinctive coffee experience, and tranquil setting make it an irresistible choice for any coffee enthusiast.

::Feel likes having a really GOOD cup of coffee at home... Shop is owned by a very generous family: Raj, Oesha and their 2 boys. Visit once, I guarantee you'll be back!

::My favorite cafe and hangout spot in Paramaribo! The owners are so friendly. I had the mint ginger tea and their homemade date/nut pie, really delicious. The ambiance (right by the palm tree park and canal) is very relaxing

::Wonderful little coffee spot on Waka Pasi. The people who work here are friendly. The view of palmentuin and the near constant breeze make this spot a great place to just enjoy the day. Of course, the coffee is lekker and so are the cakes.
